Alpharetta New Construction
Alpharetta is a great place to live for anyone wanting to enjoy the nearby city without the noise and chaos of a big city. Rural until the early 1980s, Alpharetta is now a growing city with a modest population of 34,854 (2000 Census). The city grew 168 percent from 1990 to 2000, so many homes have been built during those years to accommodate the large rate of growth. Alpharetta new construction continues its steady growth forward.
With so much growth in a city, you may ask yourself if it better to buy a new house or a previously lived in house. Some people think because a home is new, it is better than an old home. This is not necessarily true. Older homes are often in better locations or in more established neighborhoods than new homes. In certain circumstances new homes can be better. Although old homes can be in good locations, they can be a hassle to keep up. A huge advantage of buying a new home is you don’t have to keep it up as much. Also, new homes have newer and more efficient systems so you don’t pay as much for utilities. Prices will vary. You need to decide what is important for you.
New homes are now available in Alpharetta. For those that don’t want to spend too much but still want something new, there are new town homes and condos now on the market. The prices of these condos range from $150,000 to $300,000 depending on size and location. There are also plenty of new single family homes for sale for those that would rather be a bit more secluded. These prices range from $230,000 to $370,000. If it’s a new home you want then Alpharetta’s got it.
